LEATHER COAT OR LEATHER JACKET ALTERATIONS:

This is to shorten the leather jacket sleeves. If there is a long sleeve button-in liner that must also be shortened, add $6.

Shorten plain sleeves			$37.00
Shorten cuffed or buttoned sleeves			$42.00
	When measuring to shorten buttoned sleeves, be sure to look at the desired bottom edge. Any holes where buttons were sewn must be turned to the underside, or hidden by the “new” last button.
Shorten vented sleeves with hidden snaps			$42.00
	This is a style that from the outside look's like a plain straight sleeve. The snaps don't really serve a function. The circumference of the bottom of the sleeve is large enough already and the snaps don't tighten the sleeve down. This price is to remove the snap and vent, and make the sleeve into a straight classic sleeve.
Shorten zippered sleeves			$50-75
	Where sleeve must be tapered to retain circumference of cuff- we do that. The average bike jacket runs $50. Some jackets have unusual construction or variables that we may need to charge extra. If you would like a firm price you can email us a photo. If there is a long sleeve button-in liner that must also be shortened, add $8.

Before you send your leather jacket to have the sleeves altered, please look in the mirror to make sure the sleeves are the same length.  If they are the same length, you only need to mark one sleeve.  (Occasionally, leather garments come with slightly irregular sleeves, and if your sleeves are too long it isn't noticeable.) 

Send us the amount you would like us to shorten or lengthen the sleeves, in inches.  Or if shortening the sleeves, you may choose to clip one sleeve up to the desired length. Always be very careful if using paper clips and never use tape on leather.
